
Chocolate Torte
No Flour, no arsenic, All-American, Luna Approved Chocolate Yummy Goodness
Equipment
- 1 9" Springform Pan
- Parchment Paper
Ingredients
- 9 oz Dark Chocolate At least 65%
- 9 oz Unsalted Butter
- 1 ½ cups Granulated Sugar
- 7 Large Eggs Room Temperature
- ¼ tsp Almond Extract
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Chocolate Ganache
- 5 oz Semi Sweet Chocolate
- 5 oz Heavy or Whipped Cream
Instructions
- Preheat Oven to 375 F
- Grease 9" springform Pan and line with parchment
- Grease Parchment
- Melt butter and chocolate together in microwave or double boiler
- Stir in sugar and let cool for a bit.
- Add eggs, one at a time, and stir after each addition
- Stir in vanilla and almond extract
- Pour batter into pan.
- Bake 30-35 minutes, until it jiggles a little, but isn't firmly set.
Chocolate Ganache Topping
- Melt semi-sweet chocolate and mix heavy cream together.
- Pour over amazing chocolate torte.
