Chocolate Torte

1 9" Springform Pan

- 9 oz Dark Chocolate At least 65%
- 9 oz Unsalted Butter
- 1 ½ cups Granulated Sugar
- 7 Large Eggs Room Temperature
- ¼ tsp Almond Extract
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Chocolate Ganache
- 5 oz Semi Sweet Chocolate
- 5 oz Heavy or Whipped Cream
Preheat Oven to 375 F
Grease 9" springform Pan and line with parchment
Grease Parchment
Melt butter and chocolate together in microwave or double boiler
Stir in sugar and let cool for a bit.
Add eggs, one at a time, and stir after each addition
Stir in vanilla and almond extract
Pour batter into pan.
Bake 30-35 minutes, until it jiggles a little, but isn't firmly set.
